Graduate School of Policy Studies

The Graduate School of Policy Studies offers two courses of study: human environment and social systems. In the former students make comprehensive study of (1) lifelong learning, (2) psychology and (3) medical policy, and in the latter, (1) environmental policy, (2) social policy, (3) international policy and (4) information and communication policy. Students pursue extensive study of one of these seven fields.

A unique feature of our Graduate School is the emphasis on "synthesis" and "creativity". Students develop a broad perspective on both human environment and social systems through interaction with students and teachers in other fields. We thus aim to nurture individuals who are able to formulate and propose creative policies on the basis of synthetic consideration of various factors.
