Aichi Gakuin University has a long history of active participation in various intercollegiate athletic and non-athletic meetings.

At present there are 56 officially recognized athletic clubs. Athletic clubs include Japanese archery, Judo and Japanese fencing clubs as well as Baseball team, Football team, and so on. Many alumni play active part in professinal teams. Non-athletic extracuricular activites include Japanese tea ceremony and flower arrangement, Japanese calligraphy, ceramic art and other Japanese culture-oriented activities. There are 66 self-controled and officially recognized non-athletic clubs at present.
